Albert “Berto” Villalobos, 64 a Silver City resident passed away Saturday, August 2, 2014, in Silver City at Silver City Care Center. He was born on April 10, 1950, in Silver City to Ramona Villalobos. Berto was a fan of the Green Bay Packers, loved basketball, and listened to good music, especially Santana while drinking a beer with family and friends.
He is survived by two sisters Lydia Torres and Antonia Trujillo from Las Cruces and one brother Armando Villalobos of Alabama. He cherished two special friends Selma Chavez of Silver City and Raul Arroyos of Las Cruces as well as all his other friends. He is also survived by one cousin, Yolanda Sambrano who cared for him in his last days, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by Christina Sambrano and nephew Hector Villalobos from Las Cruces.
