Albert R. Tarola, 90, formerly of Fountain Hill, Pa., died Saturday, July 18, 2015, surrounded by his loving family at Country Meadows of Allentown. He was the husband of Dorina Adelle (DiClemente) Tarola for 68 years. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Anselmo and Philomena (Williams) Tarola. He honorably served his country with U.S. Marines during WWII in Iwojima. Al worked as a Structural Draftsman for the Bethlehem Steel for 37 years, until retiring as a Forman. Later he continued to work for Reimer and Fisher for 5 years, then L.V. Tech Assoc. for 20 years. He was a member of St. Ursula’s Catholic Church, and the Holy Name Society. He was also a member of the Golden Hillers, MORA, and the American Legion. Survivors: In addition to his loving wife Dorina; sons Robert Tarola (Patty) of Baltimore, MD, Gary Tarola (Corky) of Macungie; Brian Tarola (Laurie) of Dillon, CO; 4 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren; brother Arthur Tarola (Bernice) of Bethlehem Twp; sister Stella Hussar of Northampton. He was predeceased by his siblings Antoinette, Ralph, Daniel, Henry, and Philomena.
