Albert Raymond Lechowicz, 81, of Glen Burnie and previously of Baltimore passed away on July 29, 2021 at Gilchrist Hospice of Towson. Albert was born in Baltimore, MD in 1939 to the late Milton R. and Dolores Lechowicz. Albert served his country in the US Army. He worked for the Maryland Transportation Authority as a Police Officer for 34 years, earning the rank of Corporal and Sergeant. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #34, American Legion Post 40 and Stoney Creek Fishing & Hunting Club.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 36 years, Sharon Lechowicz; and his sister, Mary Rose Lechowicz. He is survived by his six children, Alberta (Tina) Elliott and her husband Bill, Jackie Carr and her fiancé, Todd Boewe, Lora Heffler, Robert Heffler, Albert “Skip” Kohr and his wife, Karen and Chris Parr; 11 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; brother, Milton Raymond Lechowicz, Jr.; sister-in-law, Misty Looker; sister-in-law, Linda Hovatter and her husband Kent; and nephew, Larry Lechowicz, and nieces, Lennean and Nina Kulacki
