Albert “Al” Norris Ballard, 93, resident of Albuquerque, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 23, 2022. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 70 years, Joan; son, Mark Ballard; parents, Albert, and Leila Ballard; sister, Ruth Helen Johnson; and brothers, Red and Howard Ballard.
Al is survived by his daughter, Marsha Rivera and husband, Pat; granddaughter, Colleen Jones and husband, Shawn; great-grandchildren, Taylor, Tyler, and Tristyn Jones; Sister, Mary Jo Elrod; brother, Ray Ballard along with many nieces and nephews.
Al will be remembered as a devoted family man. He proudly served in the United States Army and retired from the oil industry.
