Albert Michael Sleboda, 61, of Graham NC, died on Wednesday, November 30th, 2016 at Alamance Regional Medical Center surrounded by his loved ones.
A native of Pennsylvania, from the towns of Dunmore and Scott Township, he was the husband of 41 years to Barbara Nealon Sleboda, who survives, and the son of the late Albert Francis Sleboda and Madeline Tur Sleboda. He was a father in law to the late Scott Meyers, who was the husband to his daughter Bridget.
He was a graduate of Dunmore High School. He retired after 43 years of service from W.W. Norton National Book Company. He was an extremely hard worker, avid fisherman, and hunter. He was an all around “Mr. Fix It”. He loved his family more than anything else in the world and would be the first one to give you the shirt off of his back.
In addition to his wife of their home, survivors include daughters, Bridget Sleboda Meyers of Graham, NC and Erin Sleboda, along with companion Eric Meyers, both of Mebane, NC; sons, Brian Sleboda of Peckville, PA and Bobby Sleboda and wife Sonia of Durham, NC; six grandchildren, Tyler, Brandon, and Dylan Meyers all of North Carolina, Tiffany of Pennsylvania, and Sarai Osegueda and Josué Portillo, both of North Carolina; his sister, Deborah Sleboda of Dunmore, PA; his brother, David Sleboda of Scott Township, PA; niece, Tanya Sleboda of Mayfield, PA; and his “furry kids” Rosey and Murphy at home.
