ALBERT KUMP
IDAHO FALLS, ID — Albert O’Donnell Kump, 88, of Idaho Falls, passed away September 2, 2005, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
Albert was born May 10, 1917, in Lund, Nevada, to Jacob Kump and Catherine O’Donnell Kump. He grew up and attended schools in Nevada. He served his country in the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers during World War II from 1942-45.
Albert married Dorel Greenhalgh December 28, 1944, at Santaquin, Utah, after a whirlwind two-week romance. This marriage of sweethearts has endured over 60 years and was solemnized January 2, 1952, in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. They made their home in Salt Lake City for five years, Jerome, Idaho, for 43 years, and moved to Idaho Falls 13 years ago. He co-owned Custom Floors of Idaho in Twin Falls and worked as a floor covering specialist until his retirement in 1981.
