Albert Joseph Vallon, Jr. was called to eternal rest on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at the age of 86. He is survived by his beloved and devoted wife, Marguerite Sambola Vallon, married almost 62 years. Loving father of Marilyn Vallon Hotard and A.J. Vallon, III, (wife, Lee Ramsey Vallon). Adored grandfather of Alan Hotard (Wife, Rae Lynne Richard), Caroline Hotard, Alexandra Vallon, A.J. Vallon, IV and Sarah Vallon. Great grandfather of Rex Anthony Hotard. Albert will be missed by his brother and friend, Richard R. Vallon, Sr. Preceded in death by his parents, Sadie Sterbenz Vallon and Albert J. Vallon, inspiration to those who knew or met him, Albert was a lifelong resident of New Orleans. Of his many accomplishments, he was the first blind graduate from LSU’s School of Business Administration, and the successful business owner of Vallon’s Music Maison for 31 Years. Our family extends gratitude to neighbors Bill and Gail Barclay.
