Albert G. Dagenhart, 64, of Ft. Lupton, passed away October 5, 2012 at his home. He was born May 27, 1948 in Platteville, CO to John and Mollie (Smith) Dagenhart. He graduated from Ft. Lupton High School in 1966 and later joined the US Army. Albert served his country during the Vietnam Era, earning multiple medals.

He worked for Safeway in Brighton and Greeley as a Produce Manager and also as a Night Crew Manager. After his retirement from Safeway, he worked as a custodian at Weld Central High School for four years and then as the Head Custodian at Ft. Lupton Middle School for seven years.

Albert loved fishing, playing softball, where he played for the Brighton Rams, and he enjoyed watching his great-nephews bull riding. He was a collector of Indian artifacts and made many of them as well. Albert could design and make anything!
