On August 3, 2018 the Master plucked a plant for his garden. He called our father, Albert Ezell Sr. home from labor to reward.
Albert was born to the late Henry and Nancy Ezell on August 8, 1937. Albert married his late devoted wife Beartha Ree Ezell in Meridian, Mississippi on February 23, 1957.
To this union six children were born: Betty Carter, Lisman, AL; Albert (Essie) Ezell, Yantley, AL; Amos (Margaret) Ezell, Lisman, AL; Willie James Sr. (late Anita) Ezell, Akron, Ohio; Hank (Mary) Ezell, Meridian, MS; Marcus (Kimberly) Ezell, York, AL; and the late Curtis Dixon.
Albert also leaves to mourn his sisters and brothers: Pinkie (Joe) Eddie, Cleveland, OH; Carolynn Dixon, Jachin, AL; Sadie (Hardy) Ezell, Mosspoint, MS; Tommy (Mary) Ezell, Cleveland, OH; Willie Lee (Lisa) Ezell, Cleveland, OH. Also four sisters and brothers that preceded him in death: Mattylee Brown and Annie Chaney and two brothers: John Henry Ezell and Herbert Ezell. His grandchildren are as follows: Re’Johnna (Barry) Harrell, Birmingham, AL; Christopher Carter, Lisman, AL; Sherunda (Kendrick) Poellnitz; Kendra Lynch, Bridge City, Texas; Nicole Lynch, Baton Rouge, LA; Willie James Jr., Akron, OH; Heavenly Robinson, Akron, OH; Steven Robinson, Akron, Ohio; Curtisha (Roberto) Moreno, Guse Creek, SC; Chastity McLaughlin, Houston, TX; Tameeka Nicholson, Meridian, MS; Tabitha Nicholson, Houston, TX. A host of nieces and nephews throughout Mosspoint, Mississippi and Cleveland, Ohio.
