Albert Edward Pikul (BA), 69, of Milford, passed away peacefully on September 20, 2014. He was born October 4th, 1944 to the late Albert Edward Pikul Sr. and Catherine Anne Pikul in Hartford, CT.
BA graduated from Notre Dame of West Haven High School in 1962. He later went on to graduate from Southern Connecticut State University in 1968 with a degree in Political Science. Following his degree, BA chose a career in education where he spent 38 years in the Norwalk Public School system teaching Social Studies and History. BA spent many years coaching his sons in multiple sports including baseball and soccer. BA enjoyed skiing, traveling, fishing, and most of all, good times with friends and family. Loved by all who knew him, he always had kind words to say when speaking of others and will be dearly missed.
BA is survived by his four sons, Jan Edward Pikul, Terrence Pikul, Kristian Pikul, and Eric Pikul, his eight grandchildren, Celidgh Pikul, Samuel Pikul, Alexander Pikul, Terrence (TJ) Pikul, Gunnar Pikul, Benjamin Pikul, Paige Pikul, and Emma Pikul. He is also survived by his sister Lorraine Pikul Gilligan, brother Jeffery James Pikul, nephew Sean Donovan, niece Kelly Donovan, great nephew Luke Donovan, and great niece Anna Donovan. He was predeceased by his grandson, Nathan Pikul.
