Albert E. Ianetta, 89, of Melbourne, FL, a devoted family man passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on December 14, 2020. He was born in Lynn, MA and raised in Massachusetts and California. Al was the son of the late Lawrence and Marian (Harris) Ianetta and is survived by his wife of 12 years, Mary (Callahan) and their blended family, Michael Ianetta of Massachusetts, Richard Ianetta of New Hampshire, Steven and Christine Ianetta of New Hampshire, Gerald and Lindajean Ianetta of Massachusetts, David and Rika Ianetta of North Carolina, Tim Callahan and Nancy of California, Melissa and Jeff deVita of Washington, Thomas Callahan of Florida, Ty Callahan of California and Celeste and Dave Detwiler of Colorado. He will be sadly missed by 19 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Brother of Marie Armstrong of Massachusetts and Lawrence (Jimmy) Ianetta of Florida.
Al was a retired US Army Master Sargent, having served over 20 years including one tour in Korea and two tours in Vietnam. He later went on to have a successful, seventeen-year career at the Brockton Hospital in Massachusetts, retiring as a Vice President.
