Mr. Albert E. Chambers, age 68, of Valley, Al. passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2014, at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Al.
Mr. Chambers is survived by his wife, Roxyeann Chambers, three children, Donna (B.J.) Culpepper, Michael Chambers, and Travis (Christy) Chambers, all of Valley; fourteen grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; two sisters in law, Marjorie Horne of Valley and Sandra Allen of Opelika; two brothers in law, Dan Gorham of Cusseta, Al. and Jim Gorham of Salem, Al.; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his sister, Martha Chambers Pigg, and his grandchild, Lilly Chambers.
Mr. Chambers was born on May 2, 1946 in Opelika, Al. to the late A.E. and Mildred Chambers. He was of the Baptist faith. He loved his grandchildren and spending time with his family. He enjoyed camping and riding his motorcycle, and was an avid Auburn fan.
