Albert Donald Ice, 74 of Fairmont passed away, January 1, 2017 at United Hospital Center. He was born April 4, 1942 in Bridgeport, WV the son of the late Roy Donald and Freda May Rector Ice. Albert is survived by his daughter Pamela Wilson; four sons, Steve Ice of Lumberport, Brian and Daniel Ice both of Buckhannon; William Ice of Fairmont. He has eight grandchildren; one great grandson; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews; two brothers, Clyde Ice, and James Ice of Bridgeport.
He is preceded in death by four brothers, two sisters, and one grandson.
He was a member of the American Legion Post 31 of Shinnston.
Albert was a heavy equipment operator and mechanic for various construction companies; and he also worked for Mountain State Auto Auction. He was a US Navy Veteran having served on the U.S.S. Hunley.
