Albert Darnell Henderson was born on June 5, 1954, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He was the only child of Darlene Bradley aka Doll. In 1972, he fathered his first son, Rondell Ray, with Therese Faye Williams Ray. Then in the early 1980s, he made his way down to the west coast bringing his Mid-West swag to San Diego. Vibrant colored suits and snakeskin shoes were a “go to” not only for parties, but for work also. He loved dressing up, and his sense of style was unparalleled.
Fatherhood was dear to his heart. In 1984, he fathered Quisha Danae Henderson with former wife, Felicia Williams and step fathered Quionnae Wilkins and Shanae James. Albert was adored for his warm and welcoming personality and was a favorite amongst his family and friends, especially the children. They loved going to “Uncle Albert’s House.”
As time moved on, his magnetic personality never dimmed. He remained a favorite amongst in-laws and loved them just the same. In 2002, Albert fathered Albert Jr. with Marian E. Harris. Together, they raised Junior. It’s a significant part of Albert’s life because he always wanted to raise his children as a family. Albert and Marian spent 22 years together and wed in 2022.
