It is with heavy hearts the Innocenti family announces the passing of Albert “Al” Innocenti, on October 14, 2013 after a brave and valiant eight-year battle with cancer. He was 73.
Born August 31, 1940 in Elizabeth, New Jersey to Amadeo and Elizabeth Innocenti. He moved to Glendale, CA with his family at the age of 16, where he immediately went to work full-time at the family owned and operated “Flying A” gas station.
It was at the Flying A where he met his beautiful “Annie”, and realized what life was all about. In 1964, Al and Anne moved from Glendale to Oxnard to join his brothers and with their Father they worked hard together and the Innocenti family has been in business there ever since.
In addition to the Innocenti family business, Al worked hard with His Father at the auto body shop, one of the oldest auto body shops in Ventura County. And anyone that has seen his work would say he was an artist in the auto industry. Besides work, coffee, and Pepsi, there was one thing more important than anything else, his family!
