Albert “Al” “Buch” Bucho, 94

Beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great grandfather and brother, Albert “Al” “Buch” Bucho, 94, of Smelterville, Idaho, passed away January 10, 2020 at the family home of Smelterville.  He was born April 19, 1925 in Reliance, Wyoming; Al was the son of Steve and Ethel (Vargo) Bucho.

Al attended schools in Wyoming.  He was united in marriage to Julie Tadevich on November 11, 1946 in Rock Springs, Wyoming.

Al and Julie moved to the Silver Valley in March of 1948 from Wyoming.

Al was a miner and had worked at the Spokane Mine of Pine Creek, the Page Mine and then the Galena Mine of ASARCO; Al retired in 1987 after serving forty-seven years in the mining industry.

Al loved and enjoyed his family, hunting, fishing, watching war and cowboy movies and riding his bike until just recently.  He also was a handyman- always fixing things- Al was known as Mr. Fixit.

Al is survived by his beloved wife of seventy-three years Julie Bucho of the family home of Smelterville; two children Susan Duck of Smelterville, Idaho, and Timothy A. Bucho of Kennewick, Washington; three grandchildren Robert Barker of Ford, Washington, Jason Bucho of Kenai, Alaska and Michele Bucho of Anchorage, Alaska; seven great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren; one sister Irene Thiemam of Springfield, Missouri; he is also survived by several nieces and nephews.  Al was preceded in death by his parents, one son Robert Stanley Bucho, one grandson Marc Bucho, two sisters Margaret and Helen, and four brothers John, Steve, George and Jim.
