Albert A. Ricci, 74, Anderson, passed away July 1, 2008, after an extended illness. He was born August 27, 1933, in Marion, Indiana, and resided in Anderson for most of his life. Albert retired in 1972 from the Delco Remy Division of General Motors.
He served his country in the US Army. Albert was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. He enjoyed playing cards and traveling.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Judy Frye Ricci; children, Chris Dale Ricci, Sherry Lynn & husband Charlie Rhoades, Michael Lawrence & wife Deborah Ricci and Cindy Lou Ricci; brother, Louis & wife Donna Ricci; grandchildren, Christopher Anthony Ricci, Gary Lee Rhoades, Mathew Rhoades, Daniel Ricci, Angela Ricci, and Lisa Ricci and one great-grandchild, Caitlyn Alexis Ricci. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews and a special friend, Mr. Copeland. The family wishes to thank the nurses at Community Hospital for their excellent care.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank & Frances Mangia Ricci, and a sister, Ann Gobel.
