Albert A. Dorko, Sr, died November 11, 2013 at age 88. Albert was born June 9, 1925 in Barnesboro, PA to the late Andrew and Catherine Dorko. Albert was united in marriage to Dorothy Muster on November 4, 1950, for a loving 63 years together. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy during WWII, in 1943 until he was honorably discharged in 1946. Albert retired as a tool & die maker from GM after 31 ½ years. He loved the game of golf and he was an expert woodcrafter. “If it was made of wood he could fix it”.
Albert is survived by his wife, Dorothy, his children, Karen Richard Tyler, Thomas Lori, Richard, Michael Catherine, Joseph Sally, Albert Jr. and Brian Gina; 12 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; siblings, Betty Arnett, Alice Plunkett, Kate Romett and Andrew Dorko; and many nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by brothers Edward and Robert Dorko.
