Alan Clark Hogan, age 64 of Birmingham, AL passed away on May 17, 2014. He is a graduate of Hewitt Trussville, class of 1968 and a graduate of UAB. He was a member of the Conchologists of America, where his final wishes were to donate his collection to the Shell Museum and Educational Foundation in Sanibel Island, FL. He was a proud son of a Marine. He is preceded in death by his parents, Clark Howell Hogan and Edith Ayers Fielder Hogan. He is survived by his sisters, Cheryl Ogle (Curt), Debby Boyd, and Tara Hogan; niece, Chelsea Boyd Quick (Matt); great niece, Taylor Elizabeth Quick; aunts, Janie Paget and Nancy Hubbard (Bill); numerous cousins.
