Alan Grubich, 66, of Peru, passed away Tuesday morning, June 17, 2014 at Heartland Healthcare Center in Henry. Mr. Grubich was born April 21, 1948 in LaSalle to Theophil “Twaif” and Alice (Jacobson) Grubich. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during the Vietnam War. He worked as a Laborer in Local #393. He was a member of St. Joseph’s Church Peru and the Peru Rescue Station.
Survivors include eight brothers and sisters, Michael (Marilyn) Grubich of Mahomet, Sharon Milaicki of LaSalle, Kathy (Ron) Pyszka of Peru, Susan (Robert) MacDonald of Bloomington, Phil (Anne) Grubich of Elk Grove Village, Ronald (Susan) Grubich of Peru, Kurt (Sandi) Grubich of Peru and Mary (Jeff) Humpage of Peru; 15 nieces and nephews and 22 great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother-in-law, Gerald Milaicki; and one niece, Lisa Kink
