Alan D Keller, 50, of Fort Wayne, passed away on November 5, 2020, after battling an extended illness.

Born in Charleston, WV, on October 27, 1970. He enjoyed many happy childhood days there, and he was proud of his West Virginia heritage. Alan attended Columbia City High School and studied at Ohio State University.

He worked in the family businesses through the years. He started at their ice cream stores located in SW Florida.  Alan was a graphic designer at their Fort Wayne commercial sign company, Dennisign. He was also the editor for Fax Today. Later in his life he was self-employed.

He easily befriended strangers and animals. He loved to tell stories and share a few laughs with friends. Alan will be remembered for his quick wit and sense of humor. He enjoyed singing karaoke and dancing. He loved his daughter, Rachel, his family and his friends.

Alan is survived by his parents, Charlie (Denise) Keller and Jack (Jeannie) Whiting; a daughter, Rachel Strawn; three brothers, Jay (Erin) Hearld, Bradley (Angie) Keller and Mike Whiting; a sister, Thonja (Gary) Nicholson; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
