Funeral Services for Alan Anthony Calamari, Sr., age 74, of Carriere, MS, who passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2022, will be held Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at 10:00 am at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.Visitation will be Tuesday, May 17, 2022 from 9:00 am until 10:00 am at McDonald Funeral Home. Burial will be in Hope Mausoleum in New Orleans, LA.Deacon Doug McNair will officiate the service.A native of New Orleans, LA, he was a Mechanic and a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Alan proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus in Picayune, MS, and was the Commander of Post 0073 of the American Legion.He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony Joseph Calamari and Rose Montleone Calamari.Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Rosemary Lopiccolo Calamari; his daughter, Lauralyn Calamari Walsh; his son, Alan Anthony Calamari, Jr.; his 2 grandchildren, Allie Calamari and Canden Calamari; and his sister, Phyllis Evans.
