ANDERSON – A.J. Webb, 85, Anderson, passed away March, 7 2020, surrounded by family and friends following an extended illness.

He was born October 30, 1934, in Rickman, Tennessee to Early and Rissie Ann (Walker) Webb. He was the second of five children. He attended Rickman School. He moved to Anderson, Indiana for employment with Delco Remy where he worked for 41 years before retiring in 1993. He was a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church in Anderson for many years where he was an Usher, Chairman of the Board of Trustees and was a member of Master’s Men. Most recently, he was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Anderson. He was involved in Bible Study Fellowship for many years. He dedicated his life to God and his family. He was always a sweet, loving and supportive husband, father and grandfather. He was a prayer warrior for our family and will be greatly missed. He also enjoyed gardening and working in the yard.

He is survived by his wife, Berta (Ray) Webb of 63 years of Anderson; children, Dwight (Lisa) Webb of Markleville, Darren (Erin) Webb of Fishers; grandchildren, Ashley (Eric) Arnold, Jenna (Aaron) Goodnight, Austin (Kayla) Webb, Justyn Webb and Aubrey Baldwin; great-grandchildren, Colt Sharpe, Jaxson Webb, Ethan Webb and Everly Arnold. He is also survived by his sisters, Gladys (Cleo) Swallows, Anna Ruth (Deloye) Ray, Golda (Melvin) Brown and Pauline Jackson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother-in-law, Willis Jackson, and an infant brother.
