Aimable Pierre, age 81 of Norwalk, died on April 26, 2011 at home, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Haiti, the daughter of the late Constant and Jeantine (Jean) Dormevil, she was the wife of Jean O. Pierre and had worked in her country of origin in food production and grocery.
She immigrated to the U.S. in October 1993, lived continuously in Norwalk where she became and remained a fervent parishioner of St.
In addition to Jean, her husband of 56 years, Mrs. Pierre is survived by 8 children; Blaise, Auxilia, Jean-Baptist, Germain, Marie Odile, Christine, Roseleine and Hermann, 2 daughters-in-law; Magdala R. Pierre and Yolene C. Pierre, 6 cherished grandchildren: Jean Clarens, Guerley, Joseph, Yves, Linda and Jemima, a brother Joinvil Dormevil and many nieces and nephews.
