Born on August 26,1919, Aily L. Barnett, 96, passed away in her home on November 24, 2015, surrounded by members of her family. She lived a long and happy life and was blessed with good health for most of those years. She was the daughter of Georgean Denham Latham and Benjamin Franklin Latham and was raised with three brothers and one sister, all of whom preceded her in death. They were raised in Texas and Oklahoma.
In September, 1938, she married Oral Edgar Miles Barnett and they were married until 1972, when Oral passed away. Oral was a welder and Aily was a homemaker who worked very hard all her life cleaning, cooking, gardening, etc.,for her husband and their three children. Ally lived long enough to get to know and love all three children’s spouses, thirteen grandchildren and spouses, thirty-seven great grandchildren, twenty-seven great, great grandchildren, and one great, great, great grandchild.
She is survived by her three children and their spouses, Ed and Sharlot Barnett, Kathy and Carl Clymens, and Alice Sinsel, whose husband, Ward, also preceded Aily in death. She is also survived by the grandchildren, great grandchildren, great, great, grandchildren, and the great, great, great grandchild listed above, and several dear friends, and Maggie.
She was a wonderful, caring woman who loved her family. She will be missed by all of us.
