Ailene Rehm, age 89, of Salem, Ohio, died at 9:36 p.m. on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at the Salem Care Center. She was born March 15, 1923 in Rootstown, Ohio, the daughter of the late Walter and Martha (Clark) Rehm. Ailene was a member of the Ellsworth Presbyterian Church and the King’s Daughters of the church. She attended the Alliance Business College and has been a resident of this area her entire life. Survivors include two nieces, Carol Bennett and Linda Starkweather; two nephews, Donald Rehm and Richard Starkweather; and a great nephew, Luke Starkweather. Her parents; a brother, Walter Rehm Jr.; a sister-in-law, Marie Rehm; and a sister, Arlene Starkweather preceded her in death.
