Aileen Martini Segna
Our beloved sister, aunt and friend passed away peacefully on December 16, 2016. She was born on June 10, 1932 to Gelindo and Carena Tognolli Martini in Superior, Wyoming. She was a lifelong resident of West Weber. She went to West Weber Elementary, graduated from Weber High School in 1950, and attended Ogden Business College.
She married Aldo Segna on November 15, 1958 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. They were married for 45 years until he passed away in 2003.
Aileen was an active member at St. Mary’s. She was on the Council of Catholic Women at St. Mary’s and was chosen Woman of the Year in 1997-1998. She organized St. Mary’s Prayer Circle and was a member of St. Madeline’s Guild. She was a member of the Trentini Club. She was also a 4-H leader for 9 years.
She is survived by her sister, Gloria Martini Zanoni and her two brothers; Junior (Beverly) Martini and Dean (Kathy) Martini, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Aldo, niece, Chris Burger, and her brother-in-law, Bortolo Zanoni.
