Aileen Jo Johnson, 79 years old, of Farmington, NM beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed from this life on August 13, 2022. She was born to Josephine and Martin Mikolajczak on December 1, 1942 in El Paso, TX. She graduated from Farmington High School Class of 1961. She was a long-time employee of Sunwest/First National Bank. After she retired, she spent her days as a school crossing guard where she loved seeing “her” kids every day. She said this kept her young.
Aileen is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, George Johnson, her infant son, Jack, her father Martin Mikolajczak, her mother Josie Woodward, her stepfather Jack Woodward, and her brother, Martin Robert (Bobby) Woodward.
Aileen will be missed by her children, Velvet and her husband W. Trent Wood, Vernon and his wife Shelly Johnson; her grandchildren, Garrick and his husband Mitchell Wood, Audrey and her husband Chris Shelton, Natalie and her husband Jose Garcia, and Jeremy Johnson; her great-grandchildren, Evie, Wesley, Jordan, and Haiden; her brothers and sister and their spouses; her bonus sister, Barbara Woodward; and numerous nephews and nieces.
