Aileen Lindsay, 88, passed away September 21, 2013 in Canon City, CO. She was born June 13, 1925 in Dorchester, Nebraska to Otto and Hazel (Williams) Aron. In 1938, Aileen moved to Fort Collins, CO. She loved Colorado and particularly the mountains. Active in music, she played the trumpet in high school, college, many dance bands, and last performed with the Community Concert Band in Canon City. Mrs. Lindsay is survived by her children, John (Marie) Read, Nan (Tom) Hildebrandt, Jeff (Barb) Read, and Jim (Karen) Read; five grandchildren; and sixteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Fred B. Lindsay.
