Aileen Cluts,93 , of Rochelle, passed away March 10, at Rochelle Rehabilitation & Health Care Center.
Aileen was born July 20, 1915, daughter of Emma Hansen and August Jensen.
She married Merle Cochrane Cluts July 24, 1946 in Codington County Farm, South DakotaAileen graduated from Aberdeen South Dakota Teacher’s College. She taught in Merton Township Rural Clark S.D., Garden City, S.D. and Brookings, S.D. She was a Elder for First Presbyterian Church of Rochelle, a member of Rochelle schools volunteer program and Rochelle Hospital Auxiliary.
Aileen is survived by one son, Marlin (Catherine) Cluts of Rochelle; two grandchildren, Jason Merle Cluts of St. Louis and Geoffrey Cluts of Normal, Il.; one sister, Evelyn Milliken of Scottsdale, AZ.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Merle.
