Agnes Wildzunas Nitsky, 88
Troy – Agnes Wildzunas Nitsky, 88, of Delaware Avenue Troy died Sunday, March 29, 2009, at Eddy – Ford Nursing Home in Cohoes.
Born in Albany, she was daughter of the late Peter Wildzunas and Anna Keveder Wildzunas and wife of the late Joseph S. Nitsky. She had resided in Albany until moving to Troy in 1973 and was a graduate of Albany High School.
Mrs. Nitsky was a homemaker.
She was a communicant of St. William’s Church and now Sacred Heart Church in Troy. She enjoyed being with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and playing bingo.
Survivors include two daughters, Marie (Kenneth) Leavitt of Troy and Catherine (Donald) Jones of Ellicott City, MD; a brother, Charles Wildzunas of Colonie; 15 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; 2 great great granddaughters and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Margaret Nitsky; a brother, John Wildzunas and a sister, Florence O’Connor.
