Passed away Monday afternoon, August 31, 2015. Agnes was born December 26, 1928, in Kimberly, WI, the daughter of George and Hattie (VanGrinsven) VandenHeuvel. She was a charter member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church and worked for several years in the cafeteria at Portage Northern High School. She was united in marriage to her loving husband Peter, who preceded her in death on March 19, 2014.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; 5 brothers; and 5 sisters. She is survived by her children, Jeff Peeters, Peggy (Roger) Bushee, Kim (Kevin) Gingerich, Joan (Mike) Erickson, Donna (Bob) Darling; 12 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; a brother, Norbert VandenHeuvel; and several nieces and nephews. Agnes’ family would like to give special thanks to her 3 angels, Pat Curry, Pat Seidl, and Lee Durland for their amazing friendship and care.
They also thank her friends at St. Catherine for all the visits; Marianne Dickinson for her years of friendship; and to the staff at Tendercare, and Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan.
