TOGETHER AGAIN – Agnes Ribes (nee Kardohely) entered her Heavenly Home on January 25, 2023. She was born on September 22, 1930 in Philipsburg, PA to the late Michael and Anna Kardohely.
She married Raymond Ribes in 1957 and they celebrated 58 years of marriage before he passed away in 2015. Together, they raised 3 children and in 1990, they moved to Akron to help with their 3 grandchildren.
In her later years, she truly enjoyed watching her grandchildren grow up, get married, and have children. The last 4 years, she was “GG” to her beloved great-grandchildren. Family and friends were most important to her. She was a faithful follower of our Lord Jesus Christ and belonged to St. Agnes Parish in PA, St. Joan of Arc Parish in Canton, and St.
Preceded in death by her loving husband, Raymond, her parents, and 7 siblings. She is survived by her children, Diane (Tom) Moloney, Dave (Cheryl) Ribes, and Scott Ribes; grandchildren, Sean (Breanna) Moloney, Megan (Austin) Jones, Shannon (Tyler) Sovizral, John Ribes, Ellie (Jarrett) McCoy, Caroline Ribes, and Joseph Ribes; great-grandchildren, Avery, Aiden, Liam, and Emma.
