WINSTED –STERPKA – Agnes (Olzanski) Sterpka, passed away on August 16, 2014 at Litchfield Woods Health Care Center in Torrington. She was the loving wife of the late Joseph Sterpka. Agnes was born September 22, 1917; the daughter of the late Anthony and Blanche Olzanski. She was a communicant of St. Joseph Church, Winsted, employed by Sun Chief Electric and worked for many years as a Dietary Aid at Winsted Memorial Hospital. She leaves behind four children, George Sterpka and wife Dawn of Sumter, SC, Patricia Treadway and husband Frank of Lake Havasu City, AZ, James Sterpka and wife Joane of Sun City West, AZ and Richard Sterpka and wife Carol of Winsted; 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild. She also leaves two sisters, Pauline Karpinski of Torrington and Caroline Franz of Winsted. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by three brothers, Theodore, John and Albert.
