Agnes Nora Werner of Hebron, NE the daughter of Emil and Nora (Schnakenberg) Meyer was born January 15, 1933 on a farm near Davenport, NE. She departed this life Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at her residence in Hebron, NE at the age of 89 years.
She was baptized January 22, 1933 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Kiowa, NE by Rev. Johann Meyer and confirmed May 19, 1946 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Friedensau, NE by Rev. A.H. Mette.
Agnes grew up attending school at Trinity Lutheran in Friedensau, NE through the 8th grade. She graduated from Deshler High School with the class of 1950. She went on to further her education attending Lincoln General School of Nursing in Lincoln, NE and was pinned a registered nurse.
She married Marvin Werner April 25, 1954 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Kiowa, NE. This union was blessed with the birth of three sons.
Agnes worked as a nurse at Thayer County Hospital in Hebron, NE for over 40 years. Helping many people through out her years.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Marvin, and brother Elmer Meyer.
She is survived by three sons; Mark Werner and wife Kristin, Allen Werner and wife Pam, and Todd Werner all of Davenport, NE. Grandchildren; Mary Werner of Davenport, NE, Sarah Kabes and husband Andrew of Deshler, NE, Daniel Werner and wife Katie of Davenport, NE, Rachel McCown and husband Trent of Hebron, NE, Leah Werner and special friend Jordan Overturf of Edgar, NE, great-grandchildren; Piper, and Zeke Kabes and Jack and Blair Werner, nieces, nephews and friends.
