Agnes Mary (Novak) Swetz, age 97, of Fairfield, passed away the morning of Sunday, January 23, 2022 with her family by her side. Born July 18, 1924 in Dixon City, Pennsylvania, Agnes was a Fairfield resident for most of her life. She worked at Chance Vought until the war ended and later at Remington Rand for over 45 years.
Agnes is survived by her daughter, Agnes M. Roberts (Larry); sister, Helen Doyle; and grandsons, Gary Cahill (Kerrie), and Chris Cahill (Stephanie); great-grandchildren, Brett, Nicolas, Justin, Jake, and Ella; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, George J. Swetz, as well as 10 brothers and sisters. Agnes lived for her family; they were truly her greatest joy. She will be missed immensely.
