Agnes Lorraine Lawson’s earthly journey began on October 10, 1969, in Tuskegee, Alabama. She was the daughter of Johnny Lee Lawson and Margaret Elaine Parker Lawson.
At an early age, Agnes accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior. As a youth, Agnes was educated in the Lee County School System, where she later graduated from Opelika High School with the class of 1988. She later furthered her education at Central Alabama Community College (CACC) where she obtained her CNA Certificate.
Agnes departed this walk of life on August 13, 2021 at her residence. She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Elaine Parker Lawson.
Agnes love and precious memories will always be remember and cherished by her children, Jacob Dark and Jotham Dark both of Sylacauga, AL; father, Johnny Lawson of Opelika, AL; brothers, Wesley Jerode Lawson of Fort Wayne, IN; Leslie “BoBo” Lawson and Antonio “Tony” Lawson both of Opelika, AL; one sister, Yolanda “Sweet” Smiley of Opelika, AL; aunts, Alice Faye Morgan of Lafayette, AL; Carolyn (Johnny) Calloway, Belinda Parker of Opelika, AL; Deloris Woodson of Montgomery, AL; Gayle Frances of Crestview, FL; Janet (Bob) Newsome of Ft. Knox, KY; and Florence (Bell) Crittenden of Opelika, AL; nieces and nephews, Cameron, AJ, Nicole, Syia, Desiree, Tamaric, Caleb, and Heavenly; and a host of other relatives and friends.
