Agnes Lona Schwaar passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by family, in Escondido CA on May 26th, 2018 at the age of 93. She was born in Mona Utah on November 2nd, 1924 to Alton Ephraim Ellertson and Verdie Helena Cheney Ellertson. She had a very happy childhood with her two brothers, Wells Ephraim and John Winslow. Agnes graduated from Juab High School and soon after was recruited to make radio tubes at Eitel McCullough Plant to help the war efforts. Later, she attended Brigham Young University and became a school teacher. Agnes married Walter Leslie Schwaar on March 14th, 1947 in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. During their married lives, they lived in Salt Lake City Utah, the San Francisco Bay area, Bountiful Utah, Naperville IL, Ogden Utah, and eventually settled in Escondido California where they started the Light Gallery in 1979 in which she continued to be involved throughout her life.
