Agnes H. Carr, 84 years, of Jacksonville, IL died Monday afternoon, May 22, 2006 at Barton W. Stone Christian Home in Jacksonville.
She was born March 19, 1922 in Charlestown, Indiana; the daughter of Warren D. Carr, Sr. and Rose I. Graves Carr.
She is survived by her brother, Warren D. Carr, Jr. of Lanesville, IN; one nephew and several nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, James Carr and one sister, Alice Carter.
Ms. Carr was a native to Charlestown, IN and later graduated from Gallaudet College in Washington DC with honors. She then moved to Jacksonville, IL and taught at the Illinois School for the Deaf until her retirement.
