Agnes Foster, a longtime resident of White Plains NY, passed away peaceably at the Putnam Ridge Nursing Home in Brewster, NY on Friday November 23, 2012 at the age of 90. She was born Agnes Barklund on November 14, 1922. Agnes was a telephone operator in the 40’s and 50’s, and co-owner of the Maizie shop in Hartsdale for many years before retiring and moving to N. Ft. Myers, Fla. She was predeceased by her husband William W. Foster. She is survived by her son Robert and wife Linda Foster of Stormville, NY, and daughter Nancy Mathews of S. Plainfield NJ. She is also survived by her five grandchildren, Robert, Steven and Samantha Foster, Dana Karakowski and Kyle Mathews.
