Ignacia “Agnes” Chavez Hester, 90, our beloved Mother and Grandmother passed away on November 2, 2022. Agnes was known as Nocky or Auntie Kaki to family and those she grew up with in Corrales. Agnes was born on March 15, 1932, at her grandmother’s home on the corner of Griegos and Rio Grande. She is survived by daughter Bobbi Kay Nelson (Rob), grandson Mark Nelson, sister Martha Lucero (Amadeo), sister Rita Baldonado, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Agnes was preceded in death by her husband Bob Hester; and sisters Rose Silva, Laura Chavez, Nancy Lester, Isabel Wilder; and brothers Augustine Chavez, Justo Chavez, and Salomon Chavez.
