Agatha M. Ellis, age 89, passed away on March 1, 2014, in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.  

She was born in Liberal, Kansas on June 6, 1924 and graduated from high school in Woodward, Oklahoma.  In 1944, Agatha married Clarence M. Penticuff, II.  After serving in the U.S. Army during WWII, Dr. and Mrs. Penticuff relocated to Minnesota where their son and daughter were born.  

Four years after her husband’s death in 1957, Agatha married William F. Ellis. During Bill’s career with Shell Oil, they lived in Wisconsin, Oklahoma, Colorado, and Texas.  For 17 years they wintered in Fort Walton Beach and when he died in 2003, she became a permanent resident here.  

Agatha was an active member of the Garden Club, Snowbirds Club, Creative Senior Center, and New Neighbors.

Agatha is survived by her son, Clarence from North Carolina and daughter, Suzanne from Pennsylvania; as well as four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
