Adrienne Taylor of Lumberton and formerly of Moorestown, NJ, passed away on the evening of Friday, December 17th, 2021 at Jefferson Hospital, Cherry Hill at the age of 59. Adrienne was born in Jersey City to the late Johnnie Lee and Virginia (nee Wilson) Taylor. Adrienne loved to work, she spent most of her career fulfilling jobs through the Occupational Training Center. She appreciated making relationships with her coworkers and spending time with her friends. Adrienne was a fan of traveling, she visited countries like Scotland and Ireland.
Holidays were special to Adrienne, especially Thanksgiving and Christmas. One of her favorite television shows was ‘I Love Lucy,’ she even dressed up as the main character once for Halloween. She treasured the staff at The Arc of Burlington County who became her family over the course of many years of affiliation with the program. Adrienne was full of love, life, and laughter; sadly, her health issues slowly began to prevent her from doing the things she enjoyed the most.
In addition to her parents, Adrienne was predeceased by her siblings Donna-Jane Morris and Jeffery Taliaferro, her great nephew Hadrian Coley and first-cousins Steven Johnson and Deborah Johnson. She is survived by her sister Michelle Taylor, brother Johnnie Taylor-Smith, aunt Virginia Johnson, nieces and nephews: Jocelyn Taylor, Jontae Smith, Quayenurion Conway, her great nephew Ali, cousins Ethelda Johnson, Sean R. Johnson (Yolande Hill-Johnson), Andre A. Johnson, Kyle E. Johnson, Kiara Johnson and Kiana Johnson, all her friends at The Arc of Burlington County and her pet companions Sadie and the late Miss Lily.
