Adrien Desrosiers, 89, of Rockledge, FL, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2016. He served in the navy during World War II as a Coxswain on the Destroyer U.S.S. Capps. He was the beloved husband of D. Theresa (Gladu) for 68 years.
Adrien was the son of the late Alexander Desrosiers and Elmira Desrosiers (Trahan) of New Bedford, MA. He is survived by his beloved sister, Claire Viens and husband Isadore of Fairhaven, MA. He was the brother of the late Henri Desrosiers of New Bedford, MA, the late Emile Desrosiers of Vernon, CT, the late Mary Theresa Desroches of Milford, MA, and the late Romeo Desrosiers of New Port Richey, FL. He is survived by his 8 sons: Robert Desrosiers and wife Doris of Baltimore, MD; Maurice Desrosiers and his wife Sheila of Rockledge, FL; Gerard Desrosiers and his wife Elizabeth of Bristol, RI; Leo Desrosiers and his wife Teresa of Oviedo, FL; Rene Desrosiers and his wife Jacqueline of Vienna, VA; John Desrosiers and his wife Reenie of Catonsville, MD; James Desrosiers and his with Beverly of Finksburg, MD; and Marc Desrosiers and his wife Corrine of Woodbine, MD. He is also survived by his 21 loving grandchildren: Raymond; Matthew; Daniel; Joel; Sarah; David; Clare; Tara Lynn; Andrew; Nicole; Jason; Rachel; Katelyn; Alex; Kevin; Lauren; Lea; Brian; Elizabeth; Joseph; and Andrew, and 11 great-grandchildren.
