Adrian Lee Sayers Jr., “Waagosh” meaning “Fox”, of the Bear Clan and from Red Lake, Minnesota passed away too soon at the age of 24 on May 7th, 2022, in Thief River Falls, MN. His parents, Charmaine (Lussier) and the late Adrian Lee Sayers Sr. were blessed with his birth on April 14th, 1998, in Bemidji, MN.
Adrian was very kindhearted and had such a special soul; he made you feel safe, and would give the biggest, best hugs. His big smile and laughter were contagious, always joking around, encouraging friends, or just being there. He made everyone he knew feel special. He had a very special bond with his mom and siblings Q and Syd. He rarely ever missed a day giving his mom a huge hug and say “I love you Mom” and helping her with his nephews Caleb and Caden. He had a special bond with his niece Karliea, helping take care of her since she was born. They adored each other; she’d even crawl in bed with him for naps when he got home from work. Family was Adrian’s priority, he had close bonds with his aunts, cousins, and friends. Adrian proudly graduated from Bemidji High School in 2017 and recently started work at RR RL Casino as a Security Guard and was very proud he could help his mom. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him, “gone way too soon, but never forgotten”.
He is missed dearly by his Mom Charmaine Sayers, sisters Sydney Sayers and Nadonis Smith, brothers Quinton Sayers, Stephan Lussier, Micheal Spry, special brother Kenneth Lussier, grandma Theresa Lussier (Thomas Lussier Sr.), nieces: Karleia Sayers, and Alayna Spry, nephews Caleb and Caden Cloud, and Andreas Spry, aunts Charlene (Jason) Siddens, Esther Sayers, Linda (Mckinley) Sayers, Lori Sayers, and Melissa FireCloud, special aunts Dalene Fajardo, and Elice (Missy) Varney, uncle Thomas Jay Lussier Jr., special uncles: Daryl Barrett, Myron Wakonabo, Mckinley Auginash, George Jorgenson, and Jack Neadeau.
Meeting him with open arms is his dad, Adrian Sayers, Sr., grandparents Thomas V. Lussier, and Alvina Sayers, uncles Dale Sayers, and Quinton Sayers, and many other relatives.
