Adelina Yanez- beloved mother, wife, daughter, sister, grandmother, Aunt, and friend. She was born in Tucson, AZ on February 19,1970 & passed away October 16, 2017 in Colorado springs, Co. Raised on the west side of Colorado.
Adelina had a smile that no one could forget. A smile so big that it lit up the room wherever she went. A beautiful soul that was pure and true. She had a gracefulness about her. Just being in her presence gave comfort to many. Adelina was very loving and compassionate towards her loved ones, especially her children always putting them first. She had a big heart and would often put others before herself as well. She loved spending time with family and friends. Always strong willed and would see the positive over the negative. Adelina was always that shoulder you can lean on, the biggest support anyone could ask for.
She was very dedicated to her job at Abba Eye Care working there for over a decade. Also being an optician for over 20 years. She loved a lot of her co-workers and made some very close friends over the years. Adelina enjoyed going to family dinners, bowling, and dancing. She also enjoyed traveling to see her loved ones in Oklahoma and Arizona. Her favorite types of music were Oldies, Tejano, and R&B music.
Adelina Yanez is survived by three children: Rachel Salazar, Omar Dubose (Grandson), Elysia Salazar, and Juvencio Ruedas-Yanez. Her Husband Jubencio Ruedas. Siblings: Samantha Yanez, Javier Yanez. Nine nephews and nieces;Eddie Barela, Dorian and Briana Barcelo, Jose Vargas Yanez, Elijah, Gabriella, Malaki, and Noah Yanez. Father Joe Yanez; preceded in death by her mother Rachel Yanez.
