Adelheit Haag, age 99, passed away on Monday, Nov. 23, 2009. Born in Boerne on Oct. 4, 1910, she was the daughter of Albert J. Stahl and Willamena Leesch Stahl. A lifelong resident of Boerne, she was a member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church. Adelheit worked for several years at the Boerne Bakery. She and her husband, Otto, managed the Boerne Turn Verein for several years and she was a cook for the Cliff Lewis family. Preceded in death by her parents and husband, Otto, in 1962, Mrs. Haag is survived by her children, Harvey Haag and his wife, Audrey, Melvin Haag and his wife, Rusty, Edward Haag, Albert Haag and his wife, Janice, Alice Dowdy and her husband, Arlin, and Mary Jane Zuercher and her husband Allen; Eleven Grandchildren; Nineteen Great Grandchildren; Two Great Great Grandchildren.
