Adele Bruellman, 92, died Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at West Bend Health and Rehabilitation in West Bend, Iowa. Adele Rose (Esslinger) Bruellman daughter of Pete and Louise (Leuthold) Esslinger was born on August 8th, 1927, in Bern, Kansas. She graduated from the Bern country school. Following graduation she worked as a telephone operator in Sabetha, Kansas until the time of her marriage. Adele was united in marriage to Harley Bruellman on March 12, 1950. To this union 4 daughters and 2 sons were born. On August 30, 1954 she was baptized and was a faithful member of the Apostolic Christian Church. She resided with her husband on a farm near Ottosen, Iowa and moved to West Bend in 1976. Adele was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who always put her husband, children and grandchildren first. Adele is survived by her husband Harley, children Cheryl (Dave) Morrow of Fort Dodge, IA, Mavis Ann (Jeff) McGuire of Council Bluffs, IA, Dave (Yvonne) Bruellman of West Bend, IA, DeAnn (Roger) Wuthrich of Bloomfield, IA, Deb (Jerry) Larson of Larchwood, IA, and Larry (Teresa) Bruellman of Naples, FL, 21 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. Adele is also survived by 3 siblings, Esther Scott-Gill of Scottsdale, AZ, Waymer Esslinger of Sabetha, KS and Erma (Bill) Gerber of Lester, IA. She is preceded in death by her parents, 1 granddaughter Jennifer Bruellman, 2 great grandchildren Kimber Stuerman and Owen Meyer and 2 siblings, Vernon Esslinger and Martin Esslinger.
