Adelaida Torres, 87, of Tecumseh passed away peacefully at her home Monday, March 21, 2016. She was born Dec. 7, 1928, in Laredo, Texas, to Rueben and Jose Anaya. On Oct. 9, 1953, she married Manuel Torres. Adelaida was a faithful member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband; children, Jose (Lynn) Lopez, Maria (Larry) Dillon, Oscar (Liz) Lopez, Teresa (Richard) Hutchinson; 16 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Argie Marsh, and her son, George Torres.
