Marquard, Adam William passed away on Thursday March 17th at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD. He was 25 years old. The cause of death was the rarest and most aggressive of all lymphomas, which Adam had courageously battled since April of 2015.
Adam was born in Ridgewood, NJ, attending Ridgewood Public Schools, and graduated from Ridgewood High School in 2009. He was a member of the Cross Country and Track teams. At the time of his diagnosis, he was studying audio engineering at Frederick Community College in Frederick, MD.
Adam was passionate about music, and performed many songs of his own composition; and produced some of his own music videos. Extremely insightful and artistic, he wrote short stories and was a very talented sketcher. He always made an impact on those who knew him for his selflessness and good-natured humor. With all his struggles, he never complained. He was truly an inspiring individual.
His parents, Steve & Lee Ann, brother, Jason, and twin sisters, Kendall and Courtney, will sorely miss Adam: as well as all who were close to him or knew him well. The world was certainly a better place with him in it.
